Remove old doors
Our Professional and Trained HERO ProVia installers will remove an old door, unscrew hinges, score painted edges, lift the door off hinges, and set it aside. Remove hinge plates and any remaining hardware. Use a putty knife to break the seal, then gently pry the frame from the wall. Dispose of the old door responsibly.

Measure frame
To measure a HERO ProVia door frame, they will be determining the width and height. Measure the width between the inside edges of the frame, and the height from the top inside edge to the bottom inside edge. Note these dimensions accurately for selecting or replacing doors that fit precisely.

Install
When installing a new HERO ProVia door, ensure the frame is level and plumb. Align the hinges with care and secure them firmly. Insert the door into the frame, checking for smooth operation.
